Frequently asked questions
How SANRAKSH works, what stays private and what each plan includes.
Everything in one place
What is SANRAKSH?
SANRAKSH is a safety network app for India. With one tap on the SOS button it alerts your trusted contacts and nearby SANRAKSH users so help can reach you faster. It also offers emergency QR stickers, journey tracking and a directory of helpline numbers.
How does the SOS alert work?
When you press SOS, your live location is shared with your emergency contacts and nearby responders. They can open a link to see where you are and call you or the emergency services.
Does SANRAKSH replace calling 112?
No. In immediate danger always call 112 first. SANRAKSH adds trusted people and nearby users on top of the official emergency services.
What is the SANRAKSH emergency QR sticker?
A QR sticker for your vehicle. Anyone can scan it, without the app, to report an issue or an emergency to you and your emergency contacts. Your phone number is never shown.
Who can see my location?
Only the people you add as emergency contacts or guardians, and nearby responders while an SOS is active. Your location is not shared publicly.
How do I sign up?
Sign up with your mobile number and a one-time code. You can use SANRAKSH in your phone's browser or install it as an app.
Where does SANRAKSH work?
SANRAKSH is built for India. Helpline numbers in the app cover national services, with state numbers where available.
How much does it cost?
Plans start at ₹99 a year (Women Safety). Rider Safety is ₹249, Women + Rider is ₹299 and Vehicles is ₹499, each for one year.
How are my documents protected?
Vehicle documents are encrypted before they are stored and unlock only with your 4-digit PIN. Every unlock is logged and you are notified.
What is SANAI?
SANAI is the in-app safety assistant. You can describe a situation and it suggests calm, practical next steps, and can open the right screen for you.
