SOS emergency app

One tap. Your people know where you are.

When something goes wrong you shouldn't have to unlock a phone, find a contact and type a message. Press SOS and SANRAKSH alerts the people you trust — and nearby SANRAKSH users — with your live location.

What's included

  • One-tap SOS

A single press starts the alert. No menus, no typing.

  • Live location

Your contacts open a link and watch where you are on a map as it updates.

  • Trusted contacts first

The people you chose are alerted first, and can call you straight from the alert.

  • Nearby responders

Nearby SANRAKSH users who opted in to help can be notified while an SOS is active.

  • Shake or power-button trigger

Set up shake-to-SOS, and practise it safely — practice mode never sends a real alert.

  • Helplines one tap away

112, police, ambulance and women's helplines are built in, with one-tap calling.

How the SOS works

  1. 1

    Add your emergency contacts

Choose the people who should be told first. They can accept their role as a guardian.

  2. 2

Press SOS when you need help

Your live location is shared with your contacts and, if you allow it, nearby responders.

  3. 3

    Help finds you

Contacts get the alert and a live map link. You can mark yourself safe or cancel at any time.

Common questions

Does the SANRAKSH SOS replace calling 112?

No. If you are in immediate danger call 112 first. SANRAKSH adds your trusted people and nearby users on top of the official emergency services — it does not call them for you.

Who receives my location during an SOS?

Your emergency contacts, and nearby responders while an SOS is active. Your location is never shared publicly.

Do my contacts need the app?

They get an alert link they can open in a browser. Contacts who install SANRAKSH can receive alarms and respond inside the app.

Can I test it without alarming everyone?

Yes. The shake trigger has a practice mode that never sends an alert.

Be ready before you need help.

Set up your emergency contacts in a couple of minutes. In immediate danger, always call 112 first.
